Services / How We Work

Greenview Sprinkler Systems is a full-service irrigation company offering professional job estimations, system design, installation and maintenance/service.

Proposal

Greenview begins each project with a proposal/estimate based on your property's irrigation needs as well as your specific requirements and ideas. Before we create and submit our proposal to you, we will meet with you and/or your landscaper, architect or property manager to review the property and landscape, take property measurements and ensure the system we design fully meets your irrigation needs. We will also assess available water sources and determine water pressure so we are able to accurately design your system. Soil samples will also be tested; understanding soil type is a critical component of designing your system – and creating optimal watering conditions for your property. Once you approve our estimate, we begin detailed system design.

System Design

System design is the next crucial step in the process, and at Greenview, done only by Greenview's certified designer and owner. Dedicated to designing the highest quality systems, John brings his years of experience and training to each and every system design to ensure each watering zone will provide 100% coverage while minimizing water waste. This step in the process also takes plant, shrub, tree and turf type and size. And, if your landscaper, architect, or property manager requires, Greenview will document an irrigation plan to match your documented landscape plan before any work begins on your property.

System Installation

Before your system installation begins, Greenview will secure all necessary work permits required by your home town, as well as contact Call Before You Dig so that all utility lines are properly marked to avoid damage or service disruption. Homeowners are required to mark pet fences on the property.

Your system installation will be scheduled at your convenience. System size and complexity are major factors in the length of time it will take to complete your installation, but during the installation phase, Greenview always strives to minimize disruption to you and your family.

The first step of system installation is completion of a tie-in to your home's water supply. This tie-in is equipped with a backflow preventor, installed to state code by Greenview's licensed plumber. Once this step is complete, installation of underground irrigation piping and automatic sprinkler heads begins.

When installation is complete, Greenview's management team reviews all work performed by installation crews to ensure highest system performance and quality. Only then do we consider our work at your home completed and ready to review with you. Then, Greenview's system designer/owner will complete a system walk-through with you to review system operation, train you to operate your system and ensure your complete satisfaction.

Maintenance/Service

Once your irrigation system is installed, Greenview will ensure it continues to run properly and efficiently through full system maintenance services. Ongoing system maintenance extends the life of your system, keeping it trouble-free and operating at it's highest performance.
